And PS we were using a very conservative NFP last time, only having sex on days 7-14 post ovulation on a very regular 28 day cycle. She charted her temps religiously, checked physical signs, used ovulation tests and a saliva test and had months of data built up. She got pregnant anyway!

It is not possible to get pregnant 7-14 day post ovulation. Sorry. The ovum only lives for 12-24 hours.

I will clarify based on what you wrote. If you are having sex on days 7-14 on a 28 day cycle…of course you will get pregnant. you would ovulate on day 14. Now if you have sex on 7-14 days after ovulation then no you cannot get pregnant. The ovum only lives for 12-24 hours.

These are things that are not repeated in ANY form by ANY other poster in pages of this subforum, so its statistically impossible you are not one and the same. The proof is there. Not that anyone needs a chart after clicking on your various name incarnations and reading your past posts.

Stop signing in under new identities to plead for help for your impossible dilemmas that you reject all reasonable advice offered about, or to say, “Yeah, Bro!” to the immoral solutions you propose to your previously posted dilemmas, since no one else will, and to pretend frustration/anger with the Church that has you backed into a corner with its “so-impossible made-up rules!”

Yes, he is a bore, but he has a purpose to undermine or ridicule Catholic teaching here on this Catholic forum. Which makes my little mission of exposing his false identities and false purpose worthwhile to me.

And a very important purpose it is, indeed! Posters like this can sew seeds of doubt in lukewarm Catholics or new converts. I don’t think they would influence a devout and/or orthodox Catholic away from Church teaching, but letting them get away with their attacks also encourages other people to join and do the same thing. This isn’t a dissenters’ website. And it’s a tremendous waste of our time and Catholic Answers’ bandwidth to attack the Church through these forums.

God Bless you man!!! We are in a similar situation, though no kids, but pregnancy would be catastrophic for my wife’s health and would surely kill or disable a child. We seeked help too and looked into various forms of NFP without success, charts are all over, instructors cant figure them out, even had it analyzed by a “panel” at a NFP conference. We were also told by various NFP agencies to “just get pregnant”. What they don’t realize, i think, in situations like this thatt pregnancy is not a game, we absolutely can NOT gamble like that. With the total lack of support for those of us who fall thru the cracks of the church like this, we are cursed with celibacy, like you for 20+ years (we are still sorta newlywed). We are scoffed at by clergy and NFP people and thrown into darkness, personally i’m starting to feel they frankly just don’t care honestly i your situations doesn’t fit in the perscribed box,It is a bleak miserable feeling. But God i’d do anything for her. And part of that is abstaining so she can still maintain her health and recieve communion/sacraments. I know what that means to her. So from across the Internet man…bro hug i totally sympathize with you and hope you the best. God be with you.

I’m not sure where in this post I condoned anything immoral. I was simply asking God to bless him, being in that situation is tough, and was sharing my story so he knows he is not alone. But emphasizing that he should continue to abstain so they can receive sacraments.

Regardless, i’ve been doing some thinking and decided to remove myself from these forums permanently. I’ll be contacting a Mod to scrub my account and delete it. Eliza in all honesty there is no connection between myself and foxfanfourty or the other names. I cam here looking for answers when i signed up years ago, and in a way it helped, it pulled my out of my protestant faith an searching for the apostolic faith. So thank you forums for starting that journey for me. Eliza, i have a request for you, instead of using your time to find a non-existent commection between me and foxfan, would you please pray for my wife an I instead, not that BC be approved but instead that her illness be fixed, or mitigated enough to allow NFP to be used with consitency. Thank you.

If he had several false identities the server would report his IP address to the admins of the forum, and they would shut him/them down quickly.

Thanks Juliane! Yes, posers like this do sow seeds of doubt and IMO that is exactly what they are trying to do. Misery loves company, I guess. Yes, they won’t sway the devout, but they can sow seeds of doubt and who knows what kind of damage that can later wreck in an individual. In this particular set of posts, helplesspilfrim/hansiepansie/MushroomMan/FoxFanForty is taking aim at NFP, sowing seeds of doubt about this practice. For someone considering NFP, how off-putting to remember “these guys” on CAF (with over 7,500 views!) whose lives were made *miserable *by *NFP! *But it was fake! I hope the mods will please wipe this whole thread out.

The last thing I am is a police-person, but I am a defender of the faith, and I get really mad when I see someone using falsehood to undermine.

It doesn’t matter to me if he is doing it from the same IP address and the mods haven’t noticed or if he is instead typing from his partner’s computer at his house or at grandma’s house and the library - wherever. This faker does not need defending. Please do not overlook his obvious agenda.
