Missal

Hello all,

I was thinking of picking one up but then I hear they are making some changes to the Mass translation.

Anyhow, does anyone know when this is supposed to happen and if so how soon does it take for the new Missal to be released?

Since the last book has been approved and sent to Rome we are hopeful that the new Missal will be promulgated by next Advent but a more realistic date may be Advent 2011.

If you would like to have a missal with the Sunday Mass prayers and readings, pick up a New Saint Joseph Sunday Missal, Prayerbook and Hymnal for 2010 at your local Catholic bookstore. It is an inexpensive paperback. Mine only cost $3.95. It will keep you going for this year, and by next year maybe the new translation will be approved. Then you can buy a really nice missal.
