Letter that the Corinthians sent to Paul. (1 cor 7:1)

where is it and was there something very important in it? Maybe not, but we Dont have it! How will we know? Sure, I will get the same answers, “God made sure we have what we really need to know” and that kind of thing.

Letters - more letters! Letters that were from Pauls opponents:

2 cor 3:1

Where is it? What did they say about Paul? Did we get rid of them so we would never find out what they said about him?

Col 4:16

…read the letter written to Laodicea."

Where is it? It was supposed to be Read! Likely for correction like most of his letters were! How will we know if we are doing the very things they were and he may have shed some light on it and will never ever know!

All this stuff was shared back and forth- Col 4:16!!!

Maybe there was some subversion or suppression of the letters by the Laodiceans who did not want anyone to know what false practices they were doing so they could continue them forever! Unnoticed!😦 🤷

 Are you suggesting that uninspired letters that were written by people in churches that were practicing things contrary to the teachings of the apostles should be part of the Bible? That would be like saying that the “gnostic gospels” belong in the Bible.

Yeah, must have been filed somewhere. Probably a plot to keep us in the dark. Maybe they are hidden in the secret archives at the Vatican.

Where is the Laodiciean letter Paul wrote to them?

I know some people think this is mighty funny but I think its serious. Ignore my speculations and think about the missing product here!

You said someone would say it, so I will. We have what we need. Beyond that is just to satisfy idle curiosity.🤷

I’m sure many letters were written and words spoken that have been lost. But rest assured, nothing - absolutely nothing - that God wanted included in Scripture was lost. To think otherwise would be to doubt the power of God.

As to why these other letters weren’t preserved, there could be any number of reasons, something as simple as destroyed in a fire. Your imagination is as good as mine or the next persons - but all of it would be speculation with no chance of being verified in this life. 🙂
