Last Sunday my mother and I went out to the car to go to Mass and found that one of our tires had very low pressure. This was the second time in a couple of days that same tire lost a lot of pressure, so we figured it must be damaged. My mother decided that we would stay home, probably because of the fear of doing any more damage to the tire. It turned out to be a roofing nail.
We only have the one car to use and the bus system around the area does not run on Sundays. So my question is, was this missing Mass a mortal sin? I don’t think so since I couldn’t think of another way to get to Mass, but there is a voice of, “Could I have done more?”. Any help is appreciated.
