A while ago, I confessed to something (which I did when I was just a little younger and didn’t realize the full gravity or in a sense what I was really doing), or at least I thought I confessed to it fully, but I realized later I probably didn’t go into enough detail, but I thought I did during confession, and didn’t realize until later I probably should’ve said more. So it wasn’t intentional concealment as much as an honest error, but does this mean I’m absolved until my next confession(tmrw).

We can’t help you with this, and this is not the first time you’ve come here for guidance on this kind of thing.

Talk to your priest about it, not to strangers on the internet.

I appreciate this and I’m planning on asking my priest about it, but theoretically what if I died before I was able to confess. Would I go to hell because of an honest mistake which I was going to make an effort to fix the next day?

These are not questions that we can answer for you here, and they’re not questions on which you should dwell.

Given the posting history, though, it’s not well advised for people to answer these kinds of questions. Scrupulosity often drives someone to continually seek reassurance, and so responding only exacerbates the condition.

As a general rule, matters of conscience are best left to one’s priest or, as the case may be, mental health professional, and not broadcasted online. This is doubly true with regards to the scrupulous.
