I know that I could have done a better job explaining the problems I see with the interpretations of Daniel 2 in the thread the origin of the two and ten horned beast.
Christians overlook the importance of translating the bible from the original languages. That’s the only way I know of where someone can begin the path of finding the truth. They prefer to believe what they were taught from a person, university, church, televangelist, etc…Here’s a summary and hopefully a better understanding of that thread’s topic.
First of all, I’m not doing this because I’m trying to support the Catholic church in any way even though I would think most Catholic’s would welcome my research on this
. I’m doing this because by using Greek and Hebrew text, I have found serious interpretational blunders on key issues of prophecy. I have been banned from several Protestant forums because I stood for the Catholic church. I know that Rome has nothing and will have nothing to do with any of the beast mentioned the the holy Word of God. There is not one verse of scripture that points to Rome and Catholicism. This I know is the truth.
Because I’m a futurist, I believe the bible describes two final endtime beast. Nearly all futurist believe the final beast will come from the geographical area of the fourth kingdom of Daniel 2.
I believe the beast will come from the area described by all the kingdoms, or the entire statue of Daniel 2. The ancient kingdoms of Babylon, Media, Persia, and Greece are today’s Arab Muslim world. If you look at any map of those kingdoms, you’ll find that neither of those kingdoms covered the area of Rome or Europe.
I believe the rest of Daniel 2 where it describes a stone, (symbolic of Christ), “smote the image” represents a time where Christ establishes His future Kingdom which shall never be destroyed. This is when he returns to judge nations and destroy kingdoms, and those who destroy the earth.
Toes/iron/clay-brittle/divided…(do not mix) The 4th kingdom better symbolizes the Arab/Muslim world over Rome and the EU. These day’s, the Muslim’s are doing a good job of dividing Europe.
The word mixed or mingled used to describe the fourth kingdom is a Chaldean term meaning “arab” and is often used to describe “Arabia”.
This means that Rome is excluded as being a candidate for the fourth kingdom.
The correct sequence of kingdom’s in Daniel 2 is…
Babylon, Media, Persia, Greece.
The Arab/Muslim world of today encompasses the same area as these four kingdoms.
I can prove what I say from the Greek/Hebrew text if you like.
What you have do is prove my interpretation wrong about two things, hopefully from the original languages.

- The word inferior is the only word (Aramaic) that describes the silver kingdom(2). In every case (Greek, Hebrew, Chaldean) the word inferior means lower, less than and below. etc. However, in the verse, the word “ara” is used for “inferior” which is earth/land.

- How can the Persian Empire be the kingdom **inferior **to Babylon when Persia was three times the size.
- Explain why the word mixed is translated “arab” to describe the Roman empire?
