Your correct. Adam and Eve sinned because of Eve but no wait, there was the devil too. When God punished them he punished them all. Key word. All. He didn’t just punish Adam and Eve he also punished the devil. The devil lied and Eve gave in causing also Adam to sin. That’s where we need to see what’s going on here. The devil is here too causing lies and such. We shouldn’t give in. I just saw Kings of Kings last night with my sons. I had them turn away when the step daughter of Harold the great had her dance, She was dressed what in that time would call inappropriate, of coarse she didn’t believe in God so she dressed as she pleased and danced as she pleased in front of not a husband but even her step father. She was not a woman of God if she had been she wouldn’t have done such. So why should all that change now, why should we fallow what may be evil in today’s world. I am not saying we need to dress with dresses of that time, yes I think its pretty neat if we did but that’s in my own little thoughts, I do realize times and costumes change, but to a degree. I’ve said before I have dressed provocative in the past. I was very bad. But, after leaving the protestant church I was in a few years ago about, hmm about maybe 2005. I started to think a little more on things. I don’t know maybe because I am older but something caused me to change and I am glad for it. Someone said here that they where the same and recently decided to change their way of dressing, same goes for me, it was about 2 years ago that I started to come back to the Catholic church and really think. I am writing about this and pushing my point on it so much because I am in hopes that maybe I can cause someone else to think too and make the change. Sometimes, most times people change because of someone speaking out on how they feel and causing someone else to question them selves. Some don’t believe this to be an important subject but there are some of us that believe it to be very important. and to me, if something is a big deal to them then its important.
Edit: I meant to have quoted JohnnyJones on:
“There are multiple examples in scripture and in the lives of the saints where one has caused another to sin, you are wrong. With the logic you embrace there would be no such word as “stumbling block”. ULTIMATELY we are resonsible for our own sins.”
