Mohammad and the anti-Christ

Since Mohammad’s false religion has lead billions through the centuries away from Jesus as the only begotten Son of God, could he be the anti-Christ?

Look at the way the koran refers to christians. Dogs and pigs. Christians pay a special tax under islam for protection. In Saudi Arabia Christianity is outlawed. All the work of Mohammad.

For me the answer is pretty simple. Yes Mohammad is the greatest anti-Christ since Jesus walked on earth. He has lead many souls astray. As Christ predicted, there would be false prophets.
 
What does the Church say? Surely if Mohammed is the anti-christ, the Church would hve commented on this. Sounds like big news.
 
I don’t think Mohammed is the anti-Christ. I’m sure there will be plently of “small” anti-christs that will appear before the end (and we may consider him one of those.) However, If there is a “major” anti-christ, I’m sure he would sway far more people! I don’t think most people would consider the true anti-christ to be the anti-christ. He would be too clever to let them know.

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: “We are Christians.” That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.

secondly , quran didn’t call christians Dogs or pigs ever
as long as i know , quran just mentioned about those jews who disobeyed their God in specific event that he punished them by that

thirdly , yes i agree that nonmuslims (including christians) should pay a special tax under islamic rule , it’s 1.5 % annually ( less than muslims themselfs who paid 2.5 % annually )

in the end , i can read from quran these verses about jesus (pbuh)

“And verily We gave unto moses the Scripture and We caused a train of messengers to follow after him, and We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear signs, and We supported him with the holy spirit (angel Gabriel). Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with that which you yourselves desire not, you grow arrogant? Some you disbelieved, and some you killed” Al-Bakarah(2):87.

After speaking about Abraham (pbuh) God says:
“And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed (We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good. And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous. And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot. Each one of them did We prefer above (Our) creatures” Al-Anaam(6):84-86

although we have different views about jesus (pbuh) , but it will be not logic ( from unbiased point of view ) to say that mohammed (pbuh) is antichrist

by the way , i believe that jesus predicted false prophets , mohammed (pbuh) predicted the same after him 🙂
 
The false messiah (al-maseeh al-dajjaal) is the liar who leads people astray, the messiah of misguidance who will tempt people by means of the signs that he is given, such as bringing down rain, reviving the earth to bring forth vegetation, and other “miracles.”

He will be a young man with a ruddy complexion, short, with thick curly hair, a wide forehead, and broad upper chest, blind or defective (mamsooh) in the right eye. This eye will be neither prominent nor sunken, and will look like a floating grape.His left eye will be covered with a thick piece of flesh growing at the edge of his eye. Written between his eyes will be “Kaaf faa’ raa’ (K-F-R)”, in separate (Arabic) letters, or “kaafir”, with the letters joined. This will be read by every Muslim, literate or illiterate.

The Dajjaal will die at the hands of the Messiah ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (Jesus) (peace be upon him) , as is indicated by the saheeh ahaadeeth. The Dajjaal will appear on earth and will gain many followers, spreading his fitnah far and wide. No one will escape his fitnah except a few of the believers. At that point, ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) will descend to the eastern minaret in Damascus, and the believing slaves of Allaah will gather around him. He will lead them towards the Dajjaal, who at the time of the descent of ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) will be heading for Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). ‘Eesa will catch up with him at the gate of Ludd (Lod), a place in Palestine near Bayt al-Maqdis.

When the Dajjaal sees him, he will start to melt like salt melting in water,

but ‘Eesa (peace be upon him) will say to him,…“I have some business with you, you will not get away from me.” Then he will catch up with him and will kill him with his spear.

I read a really interesting book recently about this topic, called “Unleashing the Beast” by Perry Stone. It talked about the possibilities of the Muslim “saviour” (the Mahdi, I think he said) being the antichrist. And the Jesus that the Muslims claim will come back will be the false prophet that we are warned about. But Mohammad had nothing to do with it.

This isn’t necessarily my view, but that was what the author presented. The author admittedly did his research, and presented a very convincing case.

However, Perry Stone is Protestant and has a different eschatology than Catholics. The book accounted for the rapture and all that. But still, it was a very interesting book.

The muslim Jesus is nothing like the Jesus of the bible. Sounds like an interesting book. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a fatwa out for his life.

the dajjaal’s main focus is to lead people away from Christ. Sounds like Mohammad.

Oh really? If I read my Gospels correctly, Jesus preached peace and never endorsed violence. “Whoever lives by the sword perishes by the sword.” And of course, Jesus died on the Cross, not break it. Kill swine? Pigs are a creation of God, not an abomination. Jesus Christ died for your sins on that Cross but yet you say he will come and kill the Antichirst and live for 40 years? Jesus Christ is alive, he’s in Heaven watching over you and praying for you. But OK, if you believe a in a magic book of desert fables AKA the Quran which degrades women, demands war with any non-Muslim, and that, well you need a reality check because in the eyes of most Christian scholars, your magic book of desert fables and its laws are cruel, inhumane, and complete attack towards Christian morals, ethics, and beliefs.

Exactly. According to the book, the muslim Jesus and the false prophet Christians hear about in the Bible are the same person. And the muslim “saviour” and the anti-christ are the same. He gave some examples from both Christian and Muslim scripture, comparing the descriptions. And I must say, the comparisons were pretty dead on. 🤷

The definition of anti-Christ is one who is against Christ. Mohammad denied the divinity of Christ.
 
Considering the message of Muhammad was very violent towards anyone who is not a muslim, it is worth looking into him being the anti-Christ.

I think that what I have read from the Catholic Church is very misleading and that is pretty par for the course coming from a lot of religious leaders. The current Pope has tried to say it like it is about Islam but unfortunately, he has not changed the Catechism which would help tremendously. This current Pope even has a death fatwa against him and no group of moderate muslims are outraged about that either.

I do not think that Allah and YHWH are the same.

I think the mahdi in Islam is our Anti-Christ which would put Muhammad as a false prophet. I am sure that people through the ages, including today, when facing Muhammad’s Jihadists would readily think of Muhammad as the anti-Christ and especially the whole umma considering that none of them come to the aide of the violent Jihadist’s victims and instead just come here to try to convince us with abrogated verses that Islam and Muhammad are something they are not.

I always think about Walid Shoebat and what he has to say about Allah and Islam, the Mahdi and Muhammad.

Mahdi is the Antichrist not Muhammad. the bible predicted its Mahdi .

its not Obama or anyone like that its Mahdi.

the bible predicts the rise & fall of islam. this is true through research.

what about Jesus second coming. while we await Christ they await mahdi.

Mahdi brings a seven year peace treaty- The Antichrist brings a seven year peace treaty.

Mahdi will change time & laws

Islam does not honor women rights

Christians from the middle east can provide thousands of biblical references to prove there point. the middle east is where the start of all humanity was born & began.

& it is also the place where all of humanity will end. according to the Book of revelations. the Antichrist will come from the East.

& now you see why im Tolerate of Islam but try to avoid it. it is what im trained to over come. & i will not be dragged down by an Antichrist that lives by Islamic law. I refuse to follow that Jesus will save me he is the King of Kings. he will save us all

this is why I don’t respect islam … because they don’t respect other Christians living in eastern society I will show respect to some one who respects me. & i refuse to kneel before that Antichrist when the time comes. I would rather be dead… no offense.

It would be easier for Arab Christians to live within the presence of Arab Muslims and just get used to saying Allah so they get noticed less so they can live in peace.

Too often that is also pushed on us by the Muslims who want us to think that Islam is a part of Judaism and Christianity.

What says that Allah is God? The only book that says that is the Quran. The Allah of Islam is a deceiver, one who tells its followers to break the 10 Commandments if the person is a non-muslim. One who gave Muhammad all the reasons why he could steal, take his stepson’s wife, take a child as a wife, lie to people to advance islam, torture and kill people if they did not answer the call to Islam.
 
I think that even hinting that any Christian, or Jew, should call God ‘Allah’ just leads to confusion. But I do believe that is what is behind this trying to tell us that God and Allah are the same.

The Book of Revelation has alot of sybolism where many knows that 666 is the sign of the antichrist,which was Nero. The final antichrist at the end of times will be like Nero. He killed Christians. The Muslim faith seems to be the ONLY candidate at this time that supports what Nero did.

My friend, Arab Christians before the rise of the cult of Islam called God “Allah” or to them, they refer to God as “Allah-al Ab” or “God the Father” to distinguish themselves from the Muslims and say the Trinity like this:

Bismi l-Ābi wa l-Ibni wa r-Rūḥi l-Qudus (بِاسْمِ الآبِ وَالاِبْنِ وَالرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ, also spelled بِسْمِ الآبِ وَالاِبْنِ وَالرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ)

“In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” ( Sometimes followed by الإله الواحد al-Ilāhu l-Wāḥid “The One God”, to emphasize monotheism.

It should be noted that in the Maltese Language, the Almighty God is called “Alla” due to the Arab influence in Silicy and Malta, so please, show some respect and please educate yourself, you don’t know if you’re offending an Eastern Catholic from the Middle East or a descendant of one.
