My Muslim friend said that people quote and talk about the Koran out of context and that none of these people have read the entire book. Is it true that we’re being biased? I don’t want to read the Koran, so cannot find out myself.

Thats one reason why I liked that book I mentioned so much. Because the author has read the Koran and studied the comparisons between it and the Bible for over 20 years. At least thats what he claimed.

The truth is muslims say that we take things out of context and dont understand the quran, when in actual fact we do understand it and read the whole context and tell the truth about it. muslims dont like it because we show the truth and not the sugar coated version of the quran.

This is why even till today, islam is very largely passed down from parents to children and not through preaching / proselytizing. Even before the child can ask “Why should I believe in this un-qualified and invalid religion?”, he/she is already initiated into it, never to escape. By the time they are of age most would be unable to question the one and only religion they have been brought up to believe and totally surrounded by socially inhibiting rules that stop them from tracking outwards for the truth.

This is upsetting and my sister has clearly been brainwashed into believing that the Koran has more credibility than the Bible. I’m glad however, that most people recognise that it’s a bad religion to follow. I hope that one day, my sister will follow the Holy Spirit to the truth

I would like you to show me full passages that have no context. Even people with little literary skills who read it can clearly attain the context of the verses.

Christianity is also passed down from parents to children. It`s not called brainwashing or not giving your children a chance. Every parent wishes to teach their children what they believe is right. Im sure when you get children or if you already have children you will or are doing the same. You will not go to you child and say “Son, I believe in the trinity with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit ALL three together being only One God. Also, there are many people who don’t believe that God even exists. Go figure son.” or something else, but you get the gist of it. Trying to teach the trinity like that would only confuse them, and then you leave them to make the choice. It’s a really vague and lame example I know, but it should put something in perspective.

None of the Islamic history is credible? Go figure, thats the only thing an ignorant person can do. Deny history or twist it so severely that he’s even fooling himself.

However, for the first verse, the translation you gave was ambiguous and was confusing me so I looked up the same verse on a couple other websites

You shall fight them to ward off oppression, and to practice your religion devoted to GOD alone. If they refrain from aggression, then GOD is fully Seer of everything they do.

The context is written in that verse itself. To ward off oppression. Would you like to live under constant oppression.

This is what God will ask Jesus on the Day of Judgement, but not because he knew, but to show the Christians that God, nor Jesus, ever said to worship Jesus as the Son of God (as per the Muslim Belief).

If you don’t want to read the koran, then how can you respond in an educated manner?

Your friends are using taqiyya. It is a condoned method of straight out lying to mislead those that are not muslim. Please google it. You’ll find that your friends are not quite what you think. Taqiyaa in the koran encourages lying in order to protect their faith. Did Jesus ever condone lying. Please read.

The definition of anti-Christ is one who is against Christ. Mohammad denied the divinity of Christ.

I understand the debate and the two religions. One cannot believe the other to be correct for “several” reasons. With the most notable being:

The Trinity

The Blessed Virgin, the Immaculate Conception

The Crucifixtion

There are “many” non-believers. Have you ever actually read the story of the Crucifixtion and the conversations between Jesus and Pontius Pilate? Many of those that were right there when this event occured. Refused to acknowledge Christ from Envy among other reasons. Pilate mentions several times …“I find no fault with this man”! Jesus tells Pilate; " Everyone that is of the Truth hears my Voice". Pilate tells the Jews “I find no fault in him at all”. Pilates last reaction is to wash his hands of the blood of Christ. And tell the Jews; “HIs Blood be on You, and on your Children”.

My point? If there were those around Christ at his time[and there were many], who wouldn’t believe after witnessing “many” Miracles. Who refused to acknowledge after bearing witness to his words as Pilate did. Who refused to listen to the Governor of Rome when he himself knew that Jesus was a KIng.

And in the last letters of Pilate he writes; “They knew and they fought and bartered for his clothing yet killed hin anyway” ?

Is it any wonder that others have come who don’t believe? As we hold fast to the “Truth” which “we” hear in the words of Christ. We continue to save Souls in the name of Jesus Christ. Then the Truth will be shown to those who follow the word, regardless of how difficult this may be. There are other things more horrible than death in this world.

How come you are not trying to tell muslims in muslim countries about all of this? Or is it that they know about abrogation and know you are just here trying to do your da’wa laced with taqiyya?

Why is it that you are not telling us that in islam, oppression means that a muslim cannot fully practice islam which means that they cannot fully implement Sharia laws. And that includes that the non-muslims MUST accept subjugation?

Aggression in islam means that when a people (non-muslims) who have been terrorized, tortured and killed are not to fight back at the muslims or else that means that they are being aggressive. sharia laws state that no non-muslim is to harm a muslim - no matter what that muslim has done to them.

BAsically, in islam words have different meanings and you know very well that you are not telling the full truth of the matter.

In islam, war is the fault of the non-muslims because they did not answer the call to islam. Jihad in sharia says that muslims are to war against non-muslims. And the laws themselves quote verses from the koran:

Question. Why would anyone who denies God, use a screen name that calls himself God? If a Christian called himself allah, (not that a Christian would want to be associated with Satan), muslims would be screaming blasphemy!

I believe so. Most muslims are taught by their ayatollahs and imams and other “leaders”. They are well aware of it. It’s in their book.
