They believe Allah took him up bodily into heaven with Him after he had appointed his twin (VERY Gnostic view…) to be crucified. What I think in reply to this is in the Gospel of John in Gethsemane when the scribes and slaves ask which one of them is Messiah and He uses the Divine Name to reply to them (I AM). If He were going to appoint a scapegoat Gethsemane would have been the perfect place to do it but He didn’t, but idk, that’s just my whole view. Take it or leave it.Some new information came up in this thread that I cant figure out. Do Muslims believe Jesus died before He ascended? It really doesnt make sense for a dead person to ascend, so I dont know if this is true or not.
