A narration attributed to Abu Hurairah reports:

“ One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, “What is faith?” Allah’s Apostle replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, “What is Islam?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.” Then he further asked, “What is Ihsan (perfection)?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.” Then he further asked, “When will the Hour be established?” Allah’s Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.
When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.
The Prophet then recited: “Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour–.” (31. 34) Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet said, “That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion.” Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith. Sahih al-Bukhari 1:2:47

So, Mohammed just made up stuff, huh? Gabriel asked him questions and Mohammed spoke for Allah? I don’t think so, I think he was faking it all and made up everything. I don’t know how intelligent his companions were, but they apparently couldn’t tell he was duping them. I can just imagine them sitting with him in the desert, watching him talk to nobody, then Mohammed saying, “That was Gabriel who came to teach people their religion.”
 
Muhammad denied that Jesus is the Son of God, so we know that he was the Antichrist, He denied the Death and resurrection of Christ, he denied the Holy Trinity, all these are essential Christian doctrines.
Come on Muslims, answer us Christians.😃

same can be said of any prophet.
 
Eucharisted–I would have expected more from you.

This is a very common hadith, narrated by no less than 7 Companions through various chains. If you simply go to another narrator, you will find an actual description of the Angel Gabriel–those Companions saw him. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) wasn’t sitting there talking to air, he was talking to the angel Gabriel who appeared in the form of a man.

And all of those Companions saw the man. Otherwise, how would they know what the angel was asking?

I mean, really–didn’t you do your research before this post?

Did you even read the hadith?

here is a sentence in it that tells us that no one saw the angel: Then that man (Gabriel) left and the Prophet asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him.

and another time when mohammed tried to prove he saw an angel - well, the above hadiths said ‘a man’ - the angel once again didn’t come and he blamed it on a little, black puppy being there. As if an Angel of the Lord would be afraid of one of His little creatures. Now, in islam - dogs, especially black ones, are shunned.

A little puppy would have LUUUUVED to see the Angel of the Lord! For some reason I cannot believe the little guy would be afraid of one of God’s Angels either. Now, I could see it being afraid of Satan though.

This hadith was narrated by 7 different companions, like I said above. One of the companions narrating it was 'Umar, to his son.

The son of 'Umar (we call him 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar) narrates the story from his father, who was sitting with the Prophet Muhammad around his companions, and they were visited by a man. The man had clean black hair, and clean white clothes. Nobody recognized him from being among the people of Medina, but yet there were not traces of travel on him–his clothes were perfectly clean and white.

Then he sat down in front of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and placed his hands on the prophet’s thighs. That is a very intimate posture, between a student and a teacher, but yet none of Muhammad’s companions would have sat with him that way. So it was very very strange for someone to do that.

So not only do we have a description of the man (i.e., the angel Gabriel in the form of a man), we also know how he was sitting with respect to the prophet.

After the situation described, the man leaves. And according to Ibn 'Umar, it was some days before the Prophet (pbuh) asked the companions if they knew who it was, at which point he told them that it was the angel Gabriel.

And in case you don’t believe me, I’m going to tell you exactly where you can go look it up. This hadith is the very first hadith in the collection Saheeh Muslim. Go look it up.

The Companions could and did see the angel Gabriel.
 
Muslims believe that the majority of verses of the koran were revealed to mohamad or engraved on his soul by the angel Gabriel in flawless verbal inspiration or dictation.

The so-called revelations of mohamad could not have come from the angel Gabriel.

God would never send the same angel to mohamad at Mecca 600 years after the birth and death of his only Son to tell mohamad that He, God, does not have a son and that His beloved Son was never crucified!

Contradictory revelations like these cannot originate from the Father of Jesus Christ.

You find this convincing? Again you only have Muhammad’s word that the person was Gabriel! The person, whoever it was, never identified himself. Don’t you find it strange that Muhammad said it was the Angel Gabriel sometime after the man had left? Why didn’t he say who he was while the man was still there? Afraid the man would deny it?

8 - But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!

9 - As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed! **
 
Simple, Muhammad talked to a man, and when he left, he told his followers that was Jibreel. The same pattern happened another time when a woman thought he was a man she knows:

Vol 6, hadith No 503. Narrated Valium Utham. "I was informed that Gabriel came to the prophet while Um Salma was with him. Gabriel started talking (to the prophet). Then the prophet asked Um Salma, "Who is this ? " She replied "He is Dihya (Al
Kalbi). When Gabriel had left Um Salma said; “By God, I did not take him for anybody other than him ( i.e. Dihya) till I heard the sermon of the prophet wherein he informed about the news of Gabriel.” The subnarrator asked Utham :
From whom have you heard that ? Utham said “From Usama Binzaid”.

Maybe Muhammad’s wife was a messenger also, such that she could hear Gabriel yet identify him as another man she knows until Muhammad said later that it was the famous jibreel.

am not sure about the translation though.

am not explaining anything because what i quoted explains itself. As to shaytan, his business is to contradict God’s words, and Jesus’ words are clear to beware of false prophets and when Muhammad said Allah swears by horses and their hooves, maybe it was God’s question to you " do you really believe i swear by horses and therefore donkeys"? if not “come let us reason together” and tell me why you are not listening to my warnings.

As to my question , why are you using the arabic equivalent of satan when speaking English ? do you believe that the Arabic language is divine?
