Good evening all, I would like to share an event with you all that happened at today’s 6:30 mass - it has been a glorious sunny day here in London and the perfect day for my first holy communion. A ray of light was streaming through the window and shining on my face every time we stood. As we all knelt for the consecration, and the bell rang three times, there was a gradual build-up of three sounds - the rushing bellows noise that seems to happen in most churches and that I can never seem to locate, coupled with a robin’s song from the rafters, which was answered by the gurgling of a baby in the front row! So lovely, made me think of St Francis. I think this tops the time in Pompeii at Christmas midnight mass when the wild dogs outside joined in with the choir of nuns for Silent Night.
I’d love to hear all of your moving experiences, so don’t be shy - do share!
