Yep. Ironically I am conflicted with cancer and staying home recuperating. Go figure!
 
With all due respect you canā€™t correct anyone. Disagreeing with gay ā€œmarriageā€ isnā€™t bad behavior. To debate is one thing but ā€œcorrectingā€ people is something else. I hope that the wind in that Ivory Tower isnā€™t too windy, you may find yourself adrift.

And obey all that I have commanded you. Yes everyone should believe as I do if I follow the teachings of the Magisterium. I make no apologies for that.

I am also suffering from an illness and recuperating too. At least we have that in common. šŸ˜

Look. All I can tell you is the responses here have been incredibly uncharitable from those with conservative views regarding this issue. That is all. I donā€™t have a problem with anyoneā€™s view on this as long as it is respectful and dignified, and it doesnā€™t encourage a conflicted person to conduct themselves in a way that has a high potential for destroying the family.

I can correct that kind of thing when I see it, and I do.

Thank you. The outlook is good, and I should be as good as new before too long. At least that is what we hope!
 
Itā€™s telling that of all the sexual sins, homosexual activity seems to be the only one with a militant group insisting that the Roman Catholic Church redefine it as ā€œnot sinful, but loving.ā€ Theres no comparable effort to legitimize masturbation, or incest, or bestiality, or even heterosexual fornicationā€¦or any other mortal sexual sin. Not even.
 
Ok, I can agree with some of what you say but much of the perceived hostility is a consequence of propenents of this issue maligning and humiliating people that disagree. Many, including myself, are tired of it and it comes out in ways it shouldnā€™t. Then again, itā€™s often difficult to determine tones and dispositions and perceived hostilities from a message board post.
