In light of the “Punk Priest” thread, I ran across this site, and thought I would present it here.
Thoughts and comments?

It has gregorian chant and chapel veils - and they use the term Rock, it is heresy I tell you - heresy.

(Note the above is sarcastic, looks like a very interesting web site).

Hmmm, this is concerning.

Johm Michael Talbot has an album which he and his brother’s band put out over a year ago, called “Monk Rock.” I went to the concert to see JMT play and it was very good.

However, I wonder if this website could be infringing on a copyright issues?

Here’s their answer from their FAQ section:
Are you guys associated with a John-Michael Talbot? No, again. Yes, we are aware that he has a CD called “Monk Rock”. We don’t know where he got the name but we think it was a great idea; that is why we thought of it first. We don’t foresee any legal battles or thumbwrestling over it; it’s not the way of a monk.
I think it is an intriguing site. Its good to see that the young(er) generation is leaning towards tradition in practice.

I also perused through it and found it to be interesting. They had a couple of dead links though…

:heart:Blyss

I got two shirts from them, a Franciscan Crown Rosary, a scapular, and some holy cards.
Wasn’t thrilled with the scapular, it was tiny tiny tiny and made of enhanced paper swen to fabric, but the rest of the stuff was awesome. The shirts are comfy too. I wore my St Patrick one…on St Patricks Day, and suprisingly, it seemed to be the only visable representation of the saint on his own feast day I could spot while at the parade in Charlotte (except fot one Catholic church had a guy dress up and walk in the parade). Prices aren’t atrocious and delivery is on time. The guy who owns it called me up each time to make sure everything was straight, so costomer service rocks. And I got a new cool sticker for my car that says “Monk Rock” for free. 👍

I was disturbed by their coffee names such as

Our Mother of Perpetual Help House Blend

In poor taste, no pun intended.
