Was Zoroastianism the first monotheistic religion? If so, did they worship the same God that we Catholics do?

Zoroastrianism was not monotheistic. It was a dualistic religion that believed in a “good” God and a “bad” God. Some modern Christian sects have fallen into such an error between God and Satan, supposing them equal but opposite. God is infinitely superior to Satan in the Catholic view, and God could “blow Satan away” with nothing more than a thought.

No, Abraham (around 2,000 BC) preceded Zoroaster (600 BC) by about 1400 years, then there were the Egyptians under King Tut’s father Akhenaten, who kicked all his priests (and their gods) out in order to worship the sun god, Aten as the only god of Egypt around 1350 BC. Tut returned Egypt to pantheism.
