I am currently reading “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin” by St. Louis de Montfort. I have a few questions. What are little chains? And how do you join the Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts? Thank you for your responses.

Little chains are optional. You could probably if you wished find something in the hardware store that you could wear (unobtrusively) around a wrist or waist. But it would probably ‘rust’ on your skin or clothes as it oxidizes. Why not try a scapular instead?

If you go to fisheaters web site, and click on the Montfort link, they have the whole devotion on line and if I recall correctly at the very end they give the address to the confraternity. God bless.

Or you could wear a piece of regular jewellery - a bracelet or necklace - instead! Doesn’t have to be anything flashy or obvious, as long as you are aware of its significance.
