Month Live In... Please Pray for me

👋 Hello everybody, I am leaving on June 18th for a month live in at the Felician motherhouse in New Mexico. There are only a few Felician sisters in my area that live in houses, so this will be my first time visiting the motherhouse. All the sisters I have met are wonderful and loving and I am hoping that I feel at home there. If all goes well, I will be a postulant in August :bounce: I have applied already and should find out during the live in. Please pray for me and I will do the same for you all.

That’s something I love about this Vocations forum: watching people complete their journeys in discernment, and move on into the future!

I will keep you in my prayers, I just ask that you keep my vocation and formation in your prayers.

*Congratulations and yes I and many others will be praying for you.
As an aside…
It is so nice to hear from people as they complete various stages of discernment. To my mind it helps those out there wondering if its any good or value to post here (as in does my posting here really help religious vocations?) Postings of successful journeys like yours validate the value of the forum.

👋 Hello everybody, I just wanted to give a quick update. I arrived here at the convent on Friday morning (June 19th). My parents and I had lunch with all the sisters and then my parents had to leave back home (we drove from Texas). On the way to New Mexico I felt so anxious, nervous, and uneasy. I kept thinking “O God what I am doing?” :frighten: When I arrived everyone was so wonderful. The sisters are very warm and make me feel welcome. The convent (especially the chapel) is beautiful. There are many retired sisters here. They are so cute and make my day!!! :love: On Saturday we celebrated the jubilees of three sisters 25,70, and 75. It was beautiful and afterwards we had bingo and an ice cream social. Our week long retreat starts this evening and I’m looking forward to it.

I will continue to pray for all of you and please do the same for me
