Most of these threads seem to degrade into those who want to tax to get health care and those who find taxation to be wrong. Can we please have a thread where the just take it from the rich option is not discussed? While we are at it let’s take the generic give mre to charity off the table. That has also gotten plenty of air time already.
There are things we can be doing to improve health care other than relying on the “rich”. Lets discuss some of the moral things we can do to improve health care with out resorting to immoral things such as stealing or coveting.
Some things are individual based, some are community based and some are government based.
For instance, how many of you are trained in first aid and CPR? How many of you have first aid kits in your cars, brief cases etc? I’m not talking bandaids, I mean something that would be useful at an accident?
When you have guests over, is the health value of the food a major concern with what you serve?
Anyone a volunteer fireman, in search and rescue, or a trained and on call first responder?
