Moral laws are descriptive too right?

I was thinking that since morality is essentially connected with human nature and since every non-Catholic has that nature, then the Catholic philosophy of morality is also a sure guide to the laws of politics and history.

Is that true? I’m pretty sure it is but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Moral laws are universal truths about personal development and fulfilment - on this planet or in any other form of personal existence, physical or non-physical.

If we know what is good for us it is foolish not to do it. They are descriptive **and **prescriptive!
