we are making a descion to move into a new house, my son goes to special ed class, if we move, we are going to different school district, which will put my son in a different school, we do not want to do this, because he is used to the people in his class. would it be ok to put my mom or my sister adress(it means that he is still living in that district) in order to keep the same school?

Call an attorney and ask how to go about being legally domiciled in the old school district. If you are, then it doesn’t matter where you lay your head at night. However, this may run you into issues like tax, car registration, etc. But I would say don’t do what you suggested about as it is deceptive and on a practical level might have unpleasant consequences if you get found out.

Consider this.

Your son needs to develop the ability to make new friends, so putting him in a situation where he will meet new people is not necessarily bad. Most kids will make many friends as they grow up. Also, social life revolves around school. If you are having your son go to a school that is far away you will make it harder for him to make friends in the neighborhood.

Why not just talk to the people at your son’s present school? They probably know the answer. There is nothing wrong with being upfront.
