This trope is found mostly (but not only) in science fiction: man is revered as a god, either because he has had contact with a more “primitive” race (like Star Trek) or because he created some kind of artificial intelligence, android or similar (like Blade Runner or Ergo Proxy).
My question is, is it wrong to like a series that presents man being revered as a god/creator by other species (independently from the fact that he embraces this “godhood”, like Kurtz from Apocalypse Now, or not)?
