Catholics. Christians. Islam. Secularism. All have a agenda. To develop a following.

Only with the holy spirit can there be unity. Which seems to be different for each group.

Secularism is just seperation between politics and religion, you can be a Christian and secular and they are mutual for any true Christian, Jesus in the Bible shows a lot of secularism in his approach.

Thats a distinction often lost amongst my fellow Christians - perhaps because a lot of world views in this particular historic era are moving toward “totalized” conceptions where Society and the State must mirror the ideas floating around in each others heads.

In an American context at least, Secularism has come to denote a position away from its original conception - esp. During the high point of the New Atheist wave. This is probably due to the fact that although we can agree upon a division of Church and State (or Synagogue and State, or Mosque and State) we havent really come up with a rubric as to when those with religious concerns are being inappropriately silenced in the Public Square or when they go too far…

This goes beyond religion at this point, as noted amongst my New Atheist contacts who have turned their attention to the SJW “secular religion” as they would term it, in defense of free speech vs their antaoginists Atheism+/SJw Left Political inspired totalizing world view
