I am generalizing/expanding from my last post that I admit was a little strange.
I know Church teaching forbids us from dwelling on lustful thoughts and enjoying them.
But what if they are not lustful thoughts but just being excited about something, let’s say an adventure you are about to undertake. And every time you think about it you get very happy and excited.
What if you feel the excitement in your chest but also in other areas of your body… where you think you shouldn’t feel it?
Are you then not allowed to think about your exciting adventure anymore?
