The following article is a must read. As many people are now aware, there is a big stir in Rome over the not-yet-disclosed portion of the Third Secret of Fatima.

The following is a transcript of a recent speech given by Solideo Paolini to a group or Priests, Bishops, and Cardinals in Rome.

It reveals why Rome has not released the other portion of the Secret and how they justify it (because they don’t believe it was really given by Our Lady, but invented by the imagination of Sr. Lucy). Therefore, when they say the entire Third Secret has been revealed, they mean the entire Third Secret that they believe in. The rest remains supressed.

Taking part in the supression of the rest of the Third Secret is said to be the greatest regrets of our current Pope life: “and the reigning Pope said, at least once, that Fatima is one of his biggest regrets of his life.”

Why attack Father Gruner? This all started up again because of the book *The Fourth Secret of Fatima *written by Mr Socci who is a very well known author, a famous Italian journalist and TV anchorman. He was convinced that the Third Secret had been revealed until he began to investigate. I am not sure if there is an English version of his book. If not, hopefully it will be out soon.

why don’t these people stop obsessing abou the mythical supressed secret of Fatima and get on with the business of living a Catholic life, loyal to the pope and magesterial teaching authority of the Church, evangelizing, doing penance and acts of charity AS OUR LADY ASKED at Fatima. Who said there is a conspiracy? The interview posted simply says that it was decided by the Vatican that the faithful are not ready for the full Third Secret. You have read the Third Secret that was released I assume? Was it so terrible that we had to wait 40 years for it to be released. There was nothing to it.It is obvious that there is more to the Third Secret then what was released.

I don’t know what to believe. All I know is after reading the third secret, I can’t believe that anyone felt it necessary to keep it from the people all those years. What in it was so horrible that we somehow couldn’t have handled it?

Also, I was an english major and after having spent many semesters trying to assertain the meaning behind works of poetry and literature, I don’t buy the part about the prediction of the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul. The imagry of the wording envokes the slaughter of many not one.

So, apparently Cardinal Ratzinger was lying when he said this in his Theological Commentary on the Third Secret of Fatima:

Thus we come finally to the third part of the “secret” of Fatima which for the first time is being published in its entirety.

And people, don’t trust Fr. Gruner, priests who are suspended and choose to say Mass without jurisdiction commit a mortal sin of schism and excommunicate themselves from the Church.

Interesting. So now a person who says Mass without jurisdiction is guilty of schism?

Fr. Gruner will be justified in the end. If he was a liberal, he would have bene left alone. Fr. Gruner has done nothing wrong. His only crime is advocating the full discolsure of the Third Secret. Finally, some well respected journalists in Rome have seen the glaring contradiction in what is perported to be the full Third Secret. After looking at the evidence objectively, they are now raising serious questions, and Cardinal Bertone is out attempting to do damage controle, but is only digging himself in deeper. That is what is happening in Rome as we speak. If you read the article, you get some of the details.

Yes, Fr. Gruner will be vindicated in the end, just as the Traditionalists who claimed that the old Mass was never advocated were finally vindicated, after being called all kinds of names. Mahony and Kasper are made Cardinals, while the saintly Fr. Guner, who has done nothing wrong, is perscuted.

Violation of ones vows/promises are a serious offense for any religious.

Now if one might say that one can violate their vows/promises on serious matters when the bishop goes against the actual teachings of the Church but Fatima is a private revelation and therefore not part of the Deposit of the Faith and faithful Catholics are free to believe that nothing happened there.

According to Archbishop Burke, yes a priest who says Mass without jurisdiction is guilty of the ecclesistical crime of schism. Perhaps you should write to him and “educate” him on the nuances of Canon Law even though he is one of the foremost canonists of our day and a member of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura.
