basis on which verse ? During the time of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) , any single Muslim Woman married to any non-Muslim ???
As far as I have learned a Muslim man is allowed to marry a non-muslim and a Muslim woman is not allowed to marry a non-muslim.
This is among other things because the man is the owner of the children according to sharia…

By the way… what do you think about this video?

Muslim Woman;5187116O Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Say to your wives: "If you desire the life of this world said:

Is this the verse you are using to support that Aisha was “happy” with Muhammad and happy with being violated when she was 9, cleaning up his semen and accepting being beaten on her chest? Because if this is the choice she was given, why wouldn’t she choose staying with Muhammad - if she was led to believe that her eternal life would be better if she persevered and endured her life with Muhammad then it is no doubt why she made the choice she did. I don’t see that as a ringing endorsement of her marriage. (I’m not saying that she was miserable - I obviously don’t know, but I don’t think this verse supports your position as you think it does.) 🤷 If the choice is: choose God or worldly pleasures/riches which do you think she would choose?

You are not allowed to beat your wife (according to the Bible)

Whereas in islam, specifically in the quran a man is permitted to beat his wife.

However in middle eastern countries it goes beyond an inept insecure inebriated lout of a man taking his anger at the world on his wife.

Did you read the article?

Men there see women as sub human, I have been there - so let me assure you the muslim “activist” woman is not exaggerating when she says

“This is how men in Saudi Arabia see women,” she said in a telephone interview from the Saudi city of Dahran. “It’s not something they read in a book or learned from a friend. They’ve been raised to see women this way, that they’re less than a person.”
Al-Huwaider added that** “I’m not surprised to see a judge or a religious man saying that - they’ve been raised in the same culture - a culture that tells them it’s ok to raise your hand to a woman that this works.”
**
Do you have any idea the origin of the expression “rule of thumb”?

Salaam/ Peace

Very sorry to hear that . In that case , was she allowed to go for divorce ?
No, God hates divorce. “What God has joined, let not man put asunder”. This is why the Catholic Church does not condone divorce.

In Islam the teaching is this:“If you fear rebellion from your wife, beat her”.

What happend in your family was a tragedy but dont blame Jesus and His teaching because your father did not treat your mother well and your priest was a cold stone who should probably never have been a priest in the first place.
I am not blaming Jesus and His teaching any more than I think that Islam should be blamed for violence. I am not blaming the priest, either, though I wish he had been better trained in pastoral counseling.

My point is that violence can, and has been purported and defended in the name of Christianity as much (if not more than) any other religion. I am not saying it is the teaching of the Church, either.

Have you read the Koran, Hadith, Sharia-law?
Where are you?
How can you compare Jesus Christ and the New Testament with the behaviour of Muhamad that is to be imitated by all Muslims as holy behaviour and involve polygami, phedofilia, stoning, cutting off hands and feet, concubinage, war and slavery. Words like yours make absolutely no sense to me.
Please do study Islam some more… after you have studied the New Testament and then also the Old in light of the New.
Jesus is the utmost and full image of the Will of God. There is no violence and no supression in Him.
Muhammad is called seal of the prophets, his book is called uncreated word, its almost like a small divinity… and its full of violence and horrendous teachings and calls this the summit of revelations too…

Do not blame the Bible on the sins of the flesh of man. But the Koran sanctions dehumanisation and violence…

…man is the owner of the children according to sharia…
ummm…owner ?? Men are responsible for all kind of financial matters. They must spend for wives , kids. Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) once asked a kid with whom s/he wants to stay . S/he gave option for mom & Prophet granted it . But always dad must spend for kids .
what do you think about this video?
I can not watch any video online 😦

Do you have any idea the origin of the expression “rule of thumb”?
The earliest citation comes from Sir William Hope’s The Compleat Fencing-Master, second edition, 1692, page 157: “What he doth, he doth by rule of thumb, and not by art.” The term is thought to originate with wood workers who used the length of their thumbs rather than rulers for measuring things, cementing its modern use as an imprecise yet reliable and convenient standard.

Is this good enough for you? I have included the reference.

yap , please please please . You may find the Truth then 😃
Muslim Woman…
It has gone the opposite direction for me.
There was a time where I thougt islam was harmless and that we all worshipped the same God. But since I started to read the Koran and Hadith I understood more and more how Islam is degrading the human person and contains a dangerous ideology in line with nazism and communism.
The falsity of it as a religion, however, is very hard to see unless you have read the true revelations that existed long before Muhammad came with his misunderstandings.
If you read the Bible you see beauty and love like you have never imagined in your life… it surpasses all understanding.
I have read in the Koran and every time I read it I see words of flesh and I become sad because my fellow human beings who read this, and who are created in the image and likeness of God, would believe that God is so low, petty and partial in his Love.

God is not like the Koran says. Please read the Words and Life of Jesus the Messiah.

Salam and Peace

explained already . As a Muslim , I learnt to respect all the Prophets since my childhood. So , reading Bible was a horrific expereince …so many dirty allegations against the respected Prophets…hard to accept .

Muslim Woman-Here’s a thought: The Biblical prophets were fully human. Thus they were subject to the same sin that we all are. When the Bible records their failures (for instance, David’s murder of Uriah (2 Sam 11:15)) it is merely providing an accurate record of history. The fact that the Bible does not spare it’s own prophets is a factor that indicates it is an accurate historical account. In contrast, if the Bible was merely man-made propaganda, we would expect no adverse reports about the prophets. Would you agree with this?

Regards,

Lots of fiction includes good and bad attributes of a character. Dickens’ A Christimas Carol is a good example of a fallen character who sees the light.

For propaganda to be good, it has to be believable. It has to contain a kernal of truth and falsehood that is believable.

It makes lousy propaganda to say that a political candidate is the messiah, but it makes good propaganda to take a small truth about the candidate and build a messiah-like myth around her.

The story can be of a fallen man who sees the light (helped by the messiah) who then spreads this light to others, or a hero-like character who helps others see the light in a messiah-like role because she shares an attribute with those who are told they are oppressed (and who should have a special attachment to the candidate) (poverty, race, physical limitations, etc.), but who didn’t have a crumudgeon-like character to overcome. the candidate may share (or have shared) an attribute, but did not live the same kind of life (Is physically disabled, but is wealthy and educated, not at all similar to the poor, uneducated disabled person who can’t work and is forced to live with his elderly parents who are also poor). This messiah-like character is depicted as having special insight into the “lowly” people’s plight, simply because of her outward (sex, color, heritage, religion, physical limitation, etc), and further, that this speical insight extends to anyone with any “lowly” plight.

I’m not arguing that the Bible is bunk. I’m just pointing out that the propaganda argument to prove the Bible true is a weak one.

Well, if you find it horrible to read the Old Testament where human beings are being described in all their humanity, then how horrible it must be for you to read about the life of Muhammad. If any of the Old Testament prophets had acted with his degree of barbarity I would have been concerned. But they were shown in their humanity and how God had mercy on them and the people anyway. God too showed Himself… in mercy and finally Himself in flesh, as the perfect man. Perfect in love, holiness, purity and compassion with everyone, sick and old, sinners and children, women and lepers.

Now you have the problem that you have to call evil “good” in order to get your prophet to fit in. But Muhammad was not good by any standard of the word.

Now when you assume the Old Testament and New was corrupted, please tell me when, whom and HOW did this happen? You owe us all that explanation at least.
And please… use science and reason and historical facts to prove your point instead of saying some mantra you heard at the mosque…

The Lord said: “No one is good, except God”. You know that avery man and woman is a sinner and do things they should not have done. Just look at your own life and the ten commandments. If you say you have not sinned, you are indeed proud. The less people admit their sins, the more horrible they are to live with… self righteousness is suffocating… furthermore it creates suspicion, gossip and hypocrisy.

Do you even know what prophesy is?
Do you know Isaiah? Do you know he spoke so many times about Jesus’ coming and the mission of the Messiah as the suffering servant of God, bearing the sins of mankind?
Isaiah wrote this 700 years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Isaiah 52: (New International Version)

The Suffering and Glory of the Servant
13 See, my servant will act wisely;
**He will be raised **and **lifted up **and highly exalted.
14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him —
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man
and his form marred beyond human likeness—

15 so will he sprinkle many nations,
and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.

Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

2 He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

3 He** was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. **
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities
;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
**each of us has turned to his own way; **
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
And who can speak of his descendants?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was stricken
.

9 **He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth. **

10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though** the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, **
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

11 After his suffering,
he will see the light of life and be satisfied ;
by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah wrote this passage under inspiration 700 years before Jesus walked and suffered, died and resurrected in Jerusalem.
It all fits together… and this is but one prophesy of many many…
You call these books corrupted… but the very LIFE is in these pages.
Isaiah was not sinless, but God is and He uses the frail vessels to carry His Words…

I acknowledge your point. However, my point is valid, i.e., the fact that some behavior prophets in the Bible is criticized is evidence that the author is attempting to tell the truth. It is not decisive on this point, as I tried to show by claiming it merely “indicates” vice proves the accuracy of the Bible. It is, however, consistent with the theory that the author was attempting to tell the truth.
