Jihad Watch received some inside information from a close friend of Hossam Armanious, the Coptic Christian brutally murdered in New Jersey along with his family: Inside information on the New Jersey murders.

The Armanious family had inspired several Muslims to convert to Christianity — or thought they had. These converts were actually practicing taqiyya, or religious deception, pretending to be friends of these Christians in order to strengthen themselves against them, as in Qur’an 3:28: “Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful — he that does this has nothing to hope for from Allah — except in self-defense.”

Of course, the family, not suspecting the deception, was happy to see the “converted” men and willingly let them in to their home. That’s why there was no sign of forced entry. Then the “converted” Muslims did their grisly work.

Many Copts are regarding the murders as a warning to the Coptic community as a whole, related to the increasing strife between Copts and Muslims in Egypt and the Copts’ energetic efforts in America to get the truth out about the differences between Middle Eastern Christians and Muslims — differences that the Islamic lobby, with its disingenuous talk of “Arab Americans,” routinely glosses over and hopes you don’t notice. The Copts, to their immense credit, have been particularly outspoken among Middle Eastern Christians about Muslim oppression. And yes, many are active on Pal Talk debating Muslims.

The nature of the warning? The murders send a signal from the Muslims to the Copts: we are going to behave here the same way we behaved in Egypt, and the First Amendment and American law enforcement will not protect you. Don’t expect America to keep you safe from us. The oppression and harassment you thought you had left behind in Egypt has now come to you.

If this is true, the killings in New Jersey are the American equivalent of the Theo Van Gogh murder in the Netherlands, a political killing motivated solely by the need to silence effective critics of radical Islam.

That would be: Alleged inside information to add to an uninvestigated theory.

Peace

Let’s watch this story play out–Clearly it is in an investigative stage where no evidence should be ignored. You should know that there is a large muslim community in Jersey City and that a extremist Jersey City mosque was involved in the first World Trade Center bombing.

I would hope that anyone who allegedly has inside info, would take it to the police way before they would tell it to someone who has a website.

Why would you think it hasn’t been?

Why would anyone who has alleged “inside information” go blabbing in public?

Normally, police investigators like to keep things like that quiet. Widespread rumors and leaks don’t help the investigation.

Exactly.

The muslim link was brought to Police attention on day one–Did you not notice, or do you just assume that this aspect of the muslim link was left out?

This possible motive was brought out in the beginning. It is not yet proven true or false. Robbery is a possible motive, also. Did you forget that?

No–but robbers don’t typically slit the throats of young girls in their beds.

No. but violence in general seems to be escalating in our culture.

Indeed the manner of the killing, the evangalistic activity of the family, the presence of a large and vocal Islamic community point to a religiously incited killing. You know if it walks like a duck…

FWIW before anyone starts with the theory that people thought the OKC bombing was done by radical Islamists, I remember knowing from the first moment it was not. Neither the method, the location nor the target pointed to Islamists, instead the focus was on some kind of anti-government kook.

This one has the “Satanic verses” all over it.

Perhaps I missed something, please correct me if I have, but is there doubt that this family was murdered by Muslims?

What do the police say? Do they have any suspects?

Before we execute someone for this grisly crime, shouldn’t we try and convict them first?

I’m sorry I didn’t make myself clear and asked the question in a provocative way. I asked because the impression I have is that the police strongly suspect that Muslims that this family may have known commited this crime. I’m asking to see if there’s more information that confirms or refutes this theory.

I certainly didn’t call for an execution and strongly support due process in this and all crimes.

I think we would be better off wanting until we have hard information – look at how some on this board have attacked Muslims based on the suspicion that a Muslim might have committed the crime.

I think it could be better stated that many on this board condemn the pattern of attacks by Muslims based on the facts that they conduct religiously motivated attacks all over the globe.

It is up to the Muslims to gain their own credibility. They have a long way to go and not even a hint of them attempting to change the world’s perception of them. They continue to kill, in cold-blood - due to ideological religious hatred and 95% of Muslims never condemn it.

Well I agree that we don’t know all the facts. I do think you have it backwards, though. People on this board didn’t attack Muslims because of the suspicion, rather they and I have the suspicion because of the frequency and ferocity of Muslim attacks on Christians all over the globe.
