Joseph didn’t have sex with Mary. Neither did the Holy Ghost.

Be that as it may it wasn’t acceptable for a married man in America during JS time to do it. Not every sex act results in pregnancy. Wether or not JS polygamy resulted in offspring is IMO irelevant.

I wasn’t aware we were discussing them. I also don’t recall them publishing their lies in scripture as doctrinally binding.

Its completely relevant… because these were “sealing” not Weddings. How many women where “sealed” to JS after he was dead. I don’t know about you but I’d hate to have a corpse groom.

Jesus was not made flesh in the same manner as the rest of us humans. It was truly a virgin birth. a miracle.

Please, we know from LDS historians about the well documented proof that JS did have marital relations with many of these women.
I’ll grant you that ADDITIONAL women were sealed to him after his death. You can find on the LDS genealogy site you refernced the dates of many of these “sealings”. A reading of D&C 132 makes it clear that JS claimed it was okay to “know” all of these women “sealed” to him.

I never said it was. But we are talking Apples and Oranges here. Joseph shouldn’t have been comitting adultery in the first place. Publishing canonized scripture to deny it is quite different than what Abraham, Isaac or Peter did. Keeping a “secret” contradictory “scripture” to show his wife that God commanded her to accept it is certainly evil.

Several of my Ancestors where married at 14-15-16. Its only an issue to our society where our kids go thorugh 12 years of schooling before they are declared an adult. Even many state laws say 14 with parental concent.
