The Gospel of Judas was discovered in the late '70’s and translated and released to the world a few years ago.

The Gospel of Judas is a 2nd century composition by some gnostics. It is a pious work of fiction (at least pious from a gnostic POV).

There’s so much proof in that article that I am considering returning to Mormonism We Catholics destroyed all of the evidence for Mormonism apparently. And experts realize the Book of Mormon is an ancient document, but won’t admit it!

It sounds like Gnosticism to me. All this would prove, if true, is that Joseph Smith wasn’t very original.

  I want to know if any Mormon gods…how shall I put this ?..go in for SSA: some of the Olympian gods did. If Mormons don’t want questions about such conduct, they shouldn’t ascribe sex-lives to the gods they worship.

The notion that Jesus & Lucifer were siblings sounds like the Paulician (?) idea that Satanael & Jesus were siblings: Satanael lost the -el termination when he rebelled. The Paulicians are mediaeval, but the idea may be older
