Once you have thoroughly digested the Bible, you can appreciate the exaggerated parodies of Noah’s ark, Acts, Luke 1:57-64, Isaiah, the Sermon on the Mount, and others.

I just had some missionaries come over and give me a b.o.m. It went straight into the garbage. I will not have any sinful readings in my home.

Hey lax16 - I have not read it. What makes you believe it’s a worthy read?

Because it is written by a Mormon who was a teacher and director of LDS Institutes of Religion in California and Utah and because he thoroughly documents his research.

I had no idea there was so many people who knew Joseph Smith and wrote about him and his family. He was not an uneducated farm boy as we have all been told.

Did you know that JS’ father and brother were teachers? Did you know JS was very well-acquainted with the Bible? Did you know that he was a known treasure seeker?
