Mormon physician believes Paul VI inspired..

Pope Paul VI was prophetic in his arguments against contraception.

Humane Vitae is one of my favourite Encyclicals. It’s very existence proves that the Holy Spirit guides the Church. If you read the history of Humane Vitae, you will know what I mean.

Very interesting. I remember that birth control was frowned upon when I first joined the LDS Church. It doesn’t seem to be much of an issue with the LDS these days. About the only other folks that seems to completely forbid birth control are the Old Order Amish. I’ll never forget seeing an Amish couple in Shipshewana with six kids under the age of seven in tow – one of the “English” walking by them loudly proclaimed they needed to buy a television set!
