My father was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. I had mentioned this to a Mormon friend of mine, and he offered to place my dad’s name on a prayer list at his church, but he wanted his full name.
Would it be alright for my Dad’s name to be on this list? Should I be cautious? Or am I being silly? My friend states that he won’t be added to the church rolls - and I have the option of putting his name back on this list if need be. (I dunno…after seeing and hearing some of the underhanded tactics some Mormons use, like baptism of the dead, etc., I tend to be leery of any good intentions these church members have).
BTW, my father is a practicing Catholic and very devout to the Church.
Thanks
