Todd,Just to be clear, STM (a Catholic) started this thread for the express purpose of bashing the LDS faith.
I feel STM is the one that needs prayers
If it wasn’t for STM and a couple other rabid anti-mormon posters, the LDS faith would have a very small footprint on CAF. Inquiring minds will notice LDS members are not starting all these LDS threads, or keeping them alive after any initial questions are answered.
Just so you’ll know, until about a year ago there were several LDS that came here and started threads wanting to “answer questions about the LDS faith” (aka fishing for converts). They apparently believed the LDS myth that Catholics are all ignoramuses and thought they could proselytize here. They did not expect to find a number of knowledgeable former Mormons here to challenge their white-washed “we’re-just-like-you-only-better” answers. They soon found that they were way over their heads and eventually left, but not before we all got some good lessons in real Mormon doctrine and real Mormon history.
