I guess that’s an argument that can go either way between expressing an opinion and proselytizing.

It doesn’t matter to me which one it is, however, because I’m cult proof.
I’m sure you are. 🙂

But a lot of people read these threads and they have a right to know the truth. And they have a right, since the forum rules say “no proselytizing”, to expect that there will be no proselytizing.

Non Catholic religions is a good place for different faiths to discuss their differences. It was not intended, so far as I know, to serve as a vehicle for another faith to proselytize. Some may push the edges of that restriction, but since this is a Catholic forum, it is entirely understandable why overt proselytizing would not be allowed. That’s just rational.

soren, you never know where a seed is planted. I know more than one convert from Mormonism who’s exposure to Catholicism, in some form, while on their LDS mission was the seed for their eventual conversion. Some, it took many years if not decades, to cross the Tiber.
I’m one of those, except that in my case it was a reversion. And it took 22 years for that seed to produce fruit. Never give up.
