When Prop 22 was on the ballot, I had to contact the Mormon church to get a Yes on 22 lawn sign. I will be contacting them for a lawn sign once the Proposition has been assigned a number.news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080624/ap_on_re_us/mormons_gay_marriage

Yep, common front… discrimination. That is the one fruit of good coming from all this: genuine christian followers of different religious traditions can find a common front and stand together.
Why do you say that? Mormons have always been against gay marriage and have always considered homosexual behavior gravely sinful (and have always believed that homosexual persons should be treated with dignity). Their position on homosexual issues is identical to that of the Catholic Church, so far as I can tell.Yep, common front… discrimination.

Yes, but we Mormons never would have pitched a fit if the Federal Government had refused to legally recognize plural marriages. We would have been happy if the authorities had just left them alone and not thrown them in jail and seized their property.…they used to practice, and some who still identify as mormons, an alternative definition of marriage in the form of bigamy and polygamy.
