Mormons: There will be no marriage in Heaven

How does that work for you, if your wife is Mormon? That must cause some friction. (especially the celestial marriage part and the baptism of the dead.)

Actually, you are probably a great authority of how Mormons and Catholics can get along with their very different set of beliefs!
When I resigned from the Mormon Church, the temple marriage was invalidated. My wife was raised Catholic so I had to get a special dispensation to validate our marriage in the Catholic Church. She has been very understanding.
 
I used to be. I converted to the Catholic Church three years ago. My wife and kids are still Mormon. I don’t believe in Mormonism because I believe the Book of Mormon is deeply flawed and non-historical.

I have no idea how much of it is truly historical, but it doesn’t make any difference. The only thing that makes a difference is what the Bible says about Jesus Christ in both the Old and New Testaments, and I believe what it teaches. I believe that what the Mormons claim about a visit of Christ to the New World is fiction.
