After I wake up in the morning, I usually say my Morning Day Offering that all my thoughts, words, actions, prayers, sacrifices, sorrows and sufferings during the day would be offered for the intentions of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and for the conversion of sinners.

My question is do I have to say this intention of offering again during the moment when I will make an office work or house work like sweeping the floor or driving the car for my Dad (so as to be counted as an offering) because sometimes I am not even thinking of God at that very precise moment because my mind is too busy.

When the morning offering is said, it is intented to make our whole day devoted to loving God in all that we do. This blesses our day…for the whole day…so it dosen’t have be to said again and again in each individual act we do.

God looks at our heart, which is our intention. But if the Holy Spirit moves you at the momement with his love, then the spontaneious thought of ours might just be, I do this in you honor.
