My morning sickness has gotten really out of hand. If my husband wasn’t a nurse I would have probably gone to the ER last night. (He can do at home most of what they would have done in the ER anyway) I became seriously ill last night and passed out in the bathroom, unfortunately blocking the door so it was hard for my husband to get in. He managed to get in anyway and took care of me. The good thing is that I was already so close to the ground so I really had no way to get an actual head injury, but I’m definitely worn out by this first trimester.

It’s Sunday, but my doctor has an on call line and I want to see if he can write a rx for some nausea meds.

Yippie! :extrahappy: Congratualtions!

Ooooooops. I mean awwww, you poor thing. Get plenty of rest and look on the bright side - you won’t be puking for the rest of your life. Maybe only eight more months. How far along are you? Is it your first? Congratulations again and God bless.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling sick. 😦 But hopefully you can get the prescription today. The first ones I took were the kind that dissolved on your tongue, because I knew I wouldn’t be able to swallow tablets. But by the time that one ran out I could get regular pills, which were a lot cheaper. 👍

Make sure you stay well hydrated (once you can keep anything down!) and eat a lot of foods that will keep your system, ahem, moving. The meds can slow things down and that can be almost as bad as being nauseated, sometimes. :o I bought some store brand fiber powder and put that in basically everything I drank and that helped a ton.

I’m sorry to hear that you are so sick, but congratulations on your pregnancy! Going to the doctor as soon as you can is the best course. In the meantime, I’ll be praying for you!

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

You need to see your doctor if you are passing out.
Sounds like more severe nausea than “morning sickness”.

IN any case, nausea usually abates after the first trimester…praying that is the case for you.
But do get your OB in on this.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

I’m already on it! 🙂 I have to get a rx.

Wheeeeeee!!! I called in and they just sent in a rx for the good stuff and I didn’t even have to come in for an extra visit. They just called it in. I was at work and my morning had been miserable. When the office called me back and said they would send it to my pharmacy I got all hormonal pregnant girl and nearly cried because I was so relieved. Haha

A side effect can be drowsiness, so please pray that I won’t be too drowsy. I need to function at work!
