If you are trying to live a good life close to Jesus, attend Mass on Sunday, Confess & receive Communion whenever possible…even if you may fall into mortal sin…I believe God will grant you the opportunity of being forgiven of your sins before you die.
You probably will have to spend time in Purgatory, though.
Sounds better.

Trinity saves,

Is it responsible or irresponsible to give an addict the tool of her addiction?
If I give an addict the tool of her addiction and cause her to fail staying sober, am I at fault?
Could I be sued?

If an adult has a phobia of birds ( yes it happens) , and I throw a budgie at them, or gift wrap a cockatoo for them, or even bake them a blackbird pie,
And this action of mine causes them PTSD so they can’t even go outside,
Am I responsible , could I be sued?

Now apply this logic to telling a person with scruples that unless he goes to Confession , he will not be forgiven. Uh huh, its the same damaging action.

Fathers told the op what to do, leave it at that. Let it go.

I will also say, nomadic herders living in a Yurt in Mongolia can read this, and guess what, they do have internet! Great for tourism there and tracking that wild horse herd.
So this is an international forum.
