Hello. Is it a mortal sin to miss the “big” sunday mass, or can I go later the day on Sunday to mass without have committed a mortal sin?

Thanks

You can go to any Mass on Sunday, or on the Saturday evening beforehand.

It isn’t any kind of sin, as long as you go to Mass on Sunday and holy days of obligation. The graces received from Mass are the same no matter what.

what do you mean by “big” Mass? Whether if is high Mass or not, you have fulfilled your sunday obligation. Where did you get this idea from?

Can. 1248 §1. A person who assists at a Mass celebrated anywhere in a Catholic rite either on the feast day itself or in the evening of the preceding day satisfies the obligation of participating in the Mass.

Oh ok. Thank you for all your answers.

I meant “High Mass”… Haha, I am not from an English-speaking country…

Thanks Brothers & Sisters in Christ.
