burned the book of morman before baptism
is it still possible to feel the effects?

What, on earth are you talking about? Did you burn a book? If so, what sin is that? Please be specific in your questions.

If that even was a sin(the book of mormon being non-canonical and completely off-base), Baptism removes all sin that occured before the sacrament.

I am confused about what the OP is asking. Can you please expand more on what your asking so someone not familiar with the book of mormons or buring of that and the meaning of doing it before or after being baptized all connects or potentially connects?

Thanks,
Bill

Through baptism all your sins were forgiven and the temporal punishment due to them was remitted. Burning the Book of Mormon was definitely not a sin if done privately, for the book is fraudulent. If you burned it in front of Mormons you would be guilty of sinning against charity. In any case, baptism cleansed you’d soul of the stain of all sin. Thanks be to God.
