If someone, who was baptized, committed a mortal sin and died would they go to hell or purgatory? Wouldn’t they go to purgatory to be cleansed since they were saved? Wikipedia told me they would go to hell.
This is a very simple explanation. What decides is if that person says “yes” to God the second they die. If “yes” and no sins straight to heaven. If “yes” and sins then purgatory and finally if that person says “no” to God then they don’t want to be in God´s presence and will not be forced to.
