I read in another thread here about a woman asking what the difference is between mortal sins and venial sins - a question I have too. What’s your definition?

Venetial sins are the small sins, like coming five minutes to late at work every day (we get payd for those minutes too). These sins we do not have to confess (but no one denies us to confess them, some even reccomend it)!
Mortal sins are the sins that are so bad that they break our relationship with God, like not going to Mass at Sunday, to have sex outside marriage and so on.
