His holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Cyril I said:

“It is very important that all healthy forces of the society today unite for the true revival of Russia. The Church, science, art, culture, education, sport - all these things should work for strengthening spiritual foundations of our person,” the patriarch said on air in his program The Pastor’s Word on The First Channel.

“We stand against legalization and legal justification of homosexual ‘marriages’ and other outrages in the sphere of ethics. And it is a very important factor. Look: a business card, an access to certain geographical areas is recognition of the fact that the sin is legally justified there and it is correct,” he said.

Hopefully they can!

And Mebbe, with mass repentance and penance on both sides, the amicable relations between Russia and the USA that held in the 17-and 1800s will apply again, and there would be no need for Cold War 2.

Sounds good to me. 👍

I don’t understand fully Consecration of Russia thing. Pope and all Catholic bishops gather, they consecrate Russia somehow, and what do Russian Orthodox Church and Patriarch do?

Do they have any id3a how many churches in Russia are dedicated to Panagia?

Panagia is another term Theotokos. It means “All-holy”. Also Orthodox bishops wear panagias, that is medallion, that has small icon of Theotokos, that is how you differ them from monks.

Vas…My Russian Orthodox friend told me he was worried we Catholics could be tapping into false Mary’s…I personally know about those ones…

During the Marian apparitions at Lourdes, the devil appeared as Mary many times.

I was fortunate to go Europe through my local Church and the missionary team I worked with from Italy. I stayed in Lisbon to study Portuguese and my roommate was from the diocese of Leiria.

Her parents took me to Fatima and I saw an old man the girl’s father knew and talked with many times. That day he left the car and spoke with him. He came back saying the old man had seen the miracle of the sun.

Mary appeared Oct 13, 1917…as Our Lady of the Rosary…the same title the pope and church invoked praying the rosary to defeat the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto. Anyway…sh came to Fatima under this title of the Rosary.

She asked all Catholics to pray and do penance, that a new war would come to the world, worse than World War II if people did not amend their ways and turn back to God and that the event would begin by strange lights in the sky. That was the Northern lights…and then Nazi Germany invaded Poland and WWII began.

We were asked by Mary to pray for the conversion of Russia. She did not mean the Orthodox. She was referring to communism…and as such, Russia would spread her errors throughout the world. Many nations would be annihilated…and Portugal would keep the true faith…

Mary asked that the pope and all bishops in communion with him, would consecrate Russia to her immaculate heart. But not all bishops complied if I understand properly.

So by the last statement, Mary implied there would be nations that would call themselves Catholic but not have the truth faith of the Cross.

We were to pray the rosary daily.

Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. America went to war. Towards the end, America dropped the bomb on Hiroshima…and over the Church of St. Mary in Nagasaki…!..while Japanese Catholics were standing in line for confession. There were 8 German Jesuit priests serving the Japanese Catholics. They survived living so close to point zero of the bomb. They were studied by scientists up to 1960. Fr Herbert Schiller said that he believed they survived the atomic bomb because they followed through on Mary’s request to pray the rosary daily, to do penance, and to make every part of the day an act of sacrifice of love for Christ.

John Paul II was shot at the Vatican…any pope’s most dangerous place to be for his life…on May 13, 1982 by a Turkish Lone Wolf. He forgave his assassin. May 13 is first apparition date of Mary who came to Fatima on May 13, 1917.

He knew the whole story of Fatima. He began to study while recuperating its message. So on March 25, 1984…I remember that day…he consecrated Russia with all the bishops to the Immaculate Heart of Mary…BUT he did not say ‘Russia’ because he did not want to offend the Orthodox Christians who are so faithful to God.

So some people think the consecration was not done right because he did not say ‘Russia’. But he did. Sr Lucia, remaining seer, said the pope did properly consecrate Russia. And I was with the Marian Movement of Priest and a devoutly Marian leader of it said in 1988…that the Eastern people would begin to soon have freedom.

So you look at the maneurverings of Breshnev, and others, all up to Andropov…I remember those days so well…with my 2 little children.

And it came out in the Seattle Times in 1987, I believe, that if the Soviet Union had overtaken America, they were planning on liquidating 30 million Americans…intelligence, the rich…and the Orthodox Catholics.

I seriously doubt there’s a danger of gay marriage being legalized in Russia.
