I am responding to a blog that wrongly stated that Seventh-day Adventists do not believe the resurrection of Moses. It is contrary to the fact. They are a small minority of Christians who firmly believe Moses arose from the dead and he represents those that will be resurrected at Jesus’ Coming. Elijah will represent those that will meet the Lord without tasting death.
REAL MOSES AND REAL ELIJAH were with Jesus and His three disciples on the mountain.

I believe the Church’s position on this (if they have an official one), that they were glorified spirits on the mountain, not physical bodies.

Are you asserting otherwise? If so, why?

It was certainly a vision of them. We must remember that the Lord cannot deceive or be deceived. Visions represent a portrayed reality, but do not necessarily indicate that the person was bodily there.

The point of the Transfiguration is that Jesus brings Moses and Elijah as witnesses that he will fulfill the Law and the Prophets with the New Covenant.
