Does anyone know if Moses ever saw his real mother again after he went to live with the Egyptian Princess permanently?

see Exodus2:1-10. Yes Moses did see his mother again. It was she who nursed him.

The Scriptures don’t say. And I haven’t seen any Jewish traditions that mention it. Since, according to tradition she was quite elderly when she bore Moses (130 years old) I tend to doubt they saw each other much afterwards.

I havn’t looked up the Scripture yet, but I do remember something about Moses’ sister making plans with Pharaoh’s daughter for Moses to be nursed by his biological mother.

Update: Yes, Jeanne is exactly correct.

The OP asked if Moses ever saw his mother again "after he went to live with the Egyptian Princess permanently."

Again, the answer to that is: there is no evidence that he did, either biblically or in Jewish tradition (as far as I know).

He went to live with the Egyptian princess permanently when he was taken from the river so the other posters are correct. He did see his mother again.

watch 10 commandments again good movie. vatican hasnt outlawed only one movie i know of thats de vinci code if it was false scripture it would be banned. anyhow goes without saying moses went to live with his people and left the queen of egypt he chose to be a slave with his one true mom instead of being king of egypt. i dont understand the why the question.

It seems the Egyptian princess put two and two together and figured out that the little girl was kin to Moses. She knew when she asked the girl, “who could be a nursemaid for the baby” (paraphrasing) that Moses mother would be there, soon.

Thank you everyone for their (name removed by moderator)ut. A student from vacation bible school asked me that question, and I didn’t think it was in scripture. For those of you who said that he did becuase his own mother nursed him, I really wanted to know if he saw her once he was older and no longer nursing if he would have any contact with his biological mother again 😉 . I guess we’ll never know.
