Tradition holds that Moses wrote the Pentateuch. If so, how did he write about his own death in Deuteronomy 34? God Bless.

We’re not required to believe that Moses wrote the Torah.
 
Maybe Joshua finished up and preserved Moses’ writings?

Well, there was also this (other) Jewish tradition that Moses wrote of his own death before it even happened: God dictated it to him - in keeping with the idea that Moses received not just the Ten Words, but the whole Torah on Mount Sinai - and he jotted it down.

Umm … Chibears, the death of Moses is in the ***last eight verses ***of the ***last chapter ***of the ***last book. ***What does common sense say?
