Moses on Mount Sinai

Here are some questions I thought of when I read that section:
  1. God did just talk to Moses and tell him the 10 commandments, not to all the people right?
  2. Did God write the 10 commandments, or did Moses do it with him telling him what to write?
 
From what I understand, God spoke to Moses, and it doesn’t mention him talking directly to anyone else. God wrote the first two tablets, and then Moses breaks them after seeing the stupid stuff the others were doing in his absence. God sends Moses to cut two more tablets for him so he can rewrite them and those eventually go into the Ark. If I am wrong, I would appreciate someone correcting me.
