MUSLIM IMAMS WOULD VISIT HIM. The wounds were there!!! They knew he was telling the truth. He is there. Curing people with miracles. He knew the sins of people, strangers, without even being told. Sometimes, he would be seen in TWO DIFFERENT PLACES SIMULTANEOUSLY. Sometimes, he would be FLOATING IN THE SKY.

WHY WOULD THERE BE STIGMATICS IF JESUS DID NOT DIE ON THE CROSS?
any muslim who believed what he saw when he visited that guy is clearly ignorant of his religion, and the sayings of the earliest imams such as al-imam ash-shaafi’ee and others.

much of what you mention here sounds very much like the stories that the sufi mystics tell of their sufi shaikhs and saints. perhaps you should read this and see what islam has to say about things like that: the obligation to differentiate the allies of Allah from the allies of the devil.

i have one word that can explain all of these phenomena: “jinnkind”.

What is this I read about Jesus coming and killing all the pigs? I must say I burst out laughing when I read it!😃
i didn’t mention anything about killing pigs in my post.

gomez, i wonder if you even bothered to click on this link when i first posted it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_John

Will the devil do good works like curing a person of cancer? Will the devil tell people not to commit abortions. Will the devil get very angry because a husband is planning to kill his wife?

Sorry if my post was confusing. I didn’t read that in your post, but you were talking about when Jesus comes back according to Islam. Well, in the book Answering Islam it claims that when Jesus comes back he will kill all the pigs and I was wondering what that was all about!

according to islamic belief only Allah will judge. fyi, we muslims believe that jesus will return before the day of judgement. he will come after the coming of al-imam al-mahdee. also fyi, we believe that after jesus returns he will lead a normal human life - not as prophet or messenger, but as one of prophet muhammad’s followers. he will get married and he will die, just like the rest of us.
Now this is rediculous. How did Muhammad knew that Jesus will come again and marry and die? Where is Jesus now, r.gonzales? Is he in heaven? Where is he now? Are you saying that if he’s in heaven, he will come down from heaven, and then go thru a simple life and die? :whacky: Now this is really whacky.
and remember, we don’t believe he died at all, not on the cross, not in india (as some believe). Allah will not make him taste death twice.
Now where did you get the idea that he went to India? Just so, you are listening to people who doesn’t have the authentic Gospel.

Why should wikipedia be more credible than what Mr. Gomez wrote to you?

I read the article, and since I don’t even know who or what wikipedia is, I’ll take what they say with a grain of salt!

Hi Every One, Before Azan Mahgrib At Around 6 O’clock On Television In Indonesia There Is Always Spoken An Ayat From Qur’an Which Say
" God Almighty Please Give Muhammad An Honored Place As You Promise" So…where Is Muhammad Now?

But Jesus Say " I Am The Way, The Truth, And The Life, There Is No Way To Father’s House Except Through Me.
Hi there

Muhammad (SAW) is at the same place where all your Biblical Prophets like Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Joseph, Jacob, Isaac, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, and others are? So whatever you think for Muhammad (SAW) also equally apply to them all.

Pray tell us that you are capable to fabricating lies on a very short notice. Where is the proof and where is that alleged prayers? I bet you are that ignorant that you have no clue what is recited before the Azan?

You want to give it a shot and post that? But again you are a falsifier and you know that it will expose you.

catherine, please check your references before posting. the reference you give for that verses is wrong.

verse 10:95 reads, “and do not be from those who belied Allah’s verses, for you would be from the losers.

the verse you are citing is the verse before it, 10:94, which reads: “so if you are in doubt about what We send down to you, then ask those those who read the Book before you. certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be from the doubters.

if you check the Quranic exegesis of this verse you would see what this verse is actually referring to.

ibn katheer states:
qataadah said, “it has reached us that Allah’s messenger (s) said: ‘i do not doubt, nor do i ask.’” and ibn 'abbaas, sa’eed bin jubair and al-hasan al-basree said similar. and this contains establishment for the nation, and notification for them that the description of their prophet (s) is present in the previous books that are in the hands of the people of the Book, just as He, exalted is He, said, “those who follow the messenger, the illiterate prophet who they find written with them in the torah and the gospel.” (7:157) then along with this knowledge, they recognise him from their books just as they recognise their sons, they disguise that and they distort it and change it and they do not believe in him, with the establishment of the proof against them.

my friend, there is always azan mahgrib on television in my country, and just before it an ayat is spoken in Indonesian language (on television too) which says: " God Almighty please give Muhammad an honored place as you promise" of course i don’t know where that ayat is located in Qur’an, find it yourself.
come and prove it yourself.

my friend, Jesus is in heaven now and Muhammad is in his grave.
ok you don’t believe He will not judge, but a Person return from heaven to marry a woman, to have a normal life and die and come back to heaven? and to be a Muhammad follower a man in grave?? is this really written in Qur’an? are you sure?

A person in heaven must be much much better than a person in grave my friend.

you’re not even sure if it’s an actual verse from the Quran!

the burden of proof is upon the claimant and you’re the one making a claim here, so it is upon you to bring your proof.

sorry ron, but speaking without knowledge just makes people look foolish.

Muslims believe that Mary was a very very holy woman.

Muslims also believe that Jesus was a very holy holy man. In fact, to Muslims, Jesus is a Prophet!!!
When people pray to dead, very holy people like Mary or/and Jesus and ask them to pray to God for help, sometimes God responds with MIRACLES, for example by curing people whom the doctors and medical technology cannot even cure. This is how the Catholic Church determines if a person is still GOD’S FRIEND, A SAINT.

When Muslims pray to their Prophet Mahomet, does God also respond by performing MEDICAL MIRACLES?

r.gonzales:
as for these “apostles” who are they? as i mentioned in the other thread, their identities (i.e., who they were, where they were born, their upbringings, their times of death, their trustworthiness, truthfulness and reliability, etc.) aren’t fully known. that doesn’t really make for credible witnesses now, does it? first names are no where sufficient enough to identify a person…
The above is what you wrote regarding Jesus’ witnesses. According to you they’re pretty unreliable!
ha :clapping: . come on gomez, you’re going to have to come up with a better reply than that…

the testimonies of those who accompanied prophet muhammad and witnessed the revelation being revealed are recorded in history. it’s there for you to accept or reject.
And here you claim that Mohammed’s witnesses were thoroughly credible! What makes you so sure that they were more believable? Isn’t this a pure case of double standards??😛

if it causes them to associate others with Allah or to lead them further astray than they already are, sure he will.

he was Allah’s final prophet and messenger. it was revealed to him.

i said some people. i didn’t mention who those people were. fyi, a group of disbelievers called the qadiyanis/ahmadis (as well as some others) hold this belief.

yes, i’m aware of that. i’m muslim.

when people pray to the dead or to anyone else for that matter, then muslims regard that as shirk (i.e., associating partners with Allah). muslims are forbidden from praying to prophet muhammad or to supplicate to him and ask him for things. miracles are not a tell tale sign of being a “friend” of God as is mentioned in the article i linked to.

no double standards. prophet muhammad’s companions are all known, with their biographies, lineages, date of death, etc. all recorded in the books of history. when you read a report narrated by aboo hurairah, you can go into the books of biographies and pick out his bio and learn about him. can you do the same for the authors of the gospels whose identities are debated over?

i have one word that can explain all of these phenomena: “jinnkind”.
Here is a short biography of Padre Pio: He was born Francesco Forgione on May 25, 1887, in Pietrelcina, Italy, into a simple peasant family. At the age of 15 he entered the Capuchin Franciscan Friars, and was ordained a priest in 1910. In September, 1916 he was assigned to the Friary in San Giovanni Rotondo in central Italy, where he lived for the rest of his life.

After celebrating morning Mass on Sept. 20, 1918, during his prayers of thanksgiving before the Crucifix, Padre Pio received the “Stigmata”. His hands, feet and side were pierced with the nail marks and the lance wound of the Crucified Christ. Doctors estimated that for the next 50 years he lost a cup of blood every day. His five wounds were deep, bleeding and painful, but completely free of inflammation and swelling.

News of his holiness spread rapidly. Millions of people attended his Masses. He received letters from believers all over the world who asked for his saintly counsel in their times of distress and misfortune. Countless were attracted to his confessional, where he celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation for as many as 16 hours a day. People waited as much as two weeks to have him hear their confession, for they perceived in Padre Pio the true heart and soul of the Gospels, expressed in a simple and uncomplicated manner. His whole life was marked by long hours of prayer, continual sacrifice, and strict austerity. He had a very deep union with God, a burning love for the Holy Eucharist, and a fervent devotion to our Blessed Mother.

Worn out by half a century of intense suffering and constant apostolic activity in San Giovanni Rotondo, Padre Pio was called to his heavenly reward on Sept. 23, 1968. He was canonized a Saint by Pope John Paul II on June 16, 2002. Today his tomb is the most visited shrine in Europe, surpassing even Fatima and Lourdes - a place of extraordinary holiness for those in search of inspiration.

AND THIS IS FACT!

is this the reply you have everytime you get cornered by something you can’t deny? you’re the one who cried foul by accusing me of having double standards, yet now, with this statement of yours, you’re the one demonstrating that you weigh things according to two scales :tsktsk: .

everytime you accuse prophet muhammad of being a false prophet and a liar, you try to discredit islam.
everytime you claim that the Quran was written by muhammad or that it contains contradiction or that it is filled with lies, you try to discredit islam.
everytime you claim that islam is a religion of violence and hate, you try to discredit islam.

so, it goes both ways, dear.

So now, prove to us by whose authority does your interpretation of Islam to be correct and the muslim terrorists aren’t? You both claim to be followers of Islam and prophet Muhammad.

Pio
