If and when you apply to a diocese for the Seminary, try to accept with a open heart where the Bishop decides you should go. Sometimes, it is best for formation, to go to a place, where you may not have picked but the Bishop and those in charge of your formation believe you would be best formed into a priest and a Catholic man.
Being sent to a seminary you may not like, is the first step in obedience for seminarians and going with an open heart is a very important key. The diocese may ask you, but my opinion, is to say, “Where ever you think I should go.” That is my personal opinion and from experience, will either make or break many people’s experience at the Seminary.
