Oh, they’re real. I saw them in Tassie on my honeymoon. I also saw the world’s biggest or most famous one or something at a zoo there. It had been the star of a TV show, and it was in an open pen and you could pet it. Unfortunately when we passed its pen there were three drunken adult men manhandling it and trying to lift it. I hope they didn’t hurt it.
We also saw one or two of them crossing the road in the wild.
